PhotoWorks is based on the Mental Images® Software and its mental ray® open GL rendering engine, which is being used in digital film studios, for video games i.e. all industries that require high quality images.

With PhotoWorks it is possible to create amazingly realistic images and model renderings.

It is becoming more important to create images of a model even before the engineering process is finished. These images can then be used to start marketing and sales and on fairs for product presentations.

Included in the PhotoWorks software is a library of materials, light settings and studios to obtain very quick 3D rendering results. The possibility to define custom materials etc. is also given.

some available materials are: textured plastics, polypropylene, sand blasted glass, sanitized plastics, white high gloss plastics, frosted glass, plastic meshes, brushed metals, powder coating, translucent plastics, sand blasted metals, water, wood, and many more

Decal images

It is possible to place all sorts of decals on a 3D model for rendering. The decals can be all sorts of images and be placed on any 3D object, be it a flat surface or a free form surface. All you need is a jpg of bmp file of the information you wish to place in your model. With the decal all relevant information such as safety information or optical enhancements are included into a image to make it as real as possible.

24-bit PostScript®, JPEG, TARGA, TIFF, BMP, EPS, ALIAS, CT, MI, PIC, PPM, QNTNTSC, QNTPAL, RGB, RLA, or RLB can be saved, the DPI and image size can be adjusted to suit the customer's needs.
